We want to honour and support the capacity of our young people to increasingly manage and choose their education. In doing so, we will see greater purposeful learning and higher levels of engagement.
To more effectively enable students to progress in alignment with their learning readiness and in response to their interests and strengths, RRCC's secondary learning experience will not follow the traditional year level model but will follow a more flexible learning model which encourages students to enrol in explorations in response to their interest and readiness.
YOUR FIRST YEAR OF SECONDARy learning
PRE-FLIGHT
Your first year of secondary learning or Pre-flight sets the foundations for learning that align with the Year 7 Achievement Standards of the Australian Curriculum. During this time, your teachers and facilitators will spend this year better understanding your character strengths, interests and passions as well as your readiness as a learner.

When you complete Pre-flight, you will then begin a minimum five-year personalised learning pathway (Flight Path), that empowers you to take ownership and responsibility for your learning and ultimately, setting you on a path that enables you to discover your identity and purpose.

VICTORIAN CERTIFICATE OF EDUCATION (VCE)
Red Rock Christian College offers a range of VCE subjects. The Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) is the certificate that the majority of students in Victoria receive on satisfactory completion of their secondary education. The VCE provides diverse pathways to further study or training at university or TAFE and to employment. The College will be offering students the option to obtain either a scored VCE or unscored VCE.
